I always thought when I heard couples say this (the process of “learning to communicate” early in their relationship) that it, learning to communicate, would be easier for me when I was actually in a serious relationship. Not sure why I thought that, maybe because I pride myself on my people skills. I don’t know.
But it’s not easy.
It’s easy to communicate with people, even on a deep, meaningful level, when it doesn’t really matter, when you’re less invested in the relationship. It’s easy to communicate your feelings with people who can’t really hurt you.
Too bad that’s isn’t always the case. But I guess that’s what makes it good.

Communication is essential and one of the most basic foundation in arelationship. I believe that a two-way communication makes a relationship stronger.
